Design

Brand identity design, from business card to website.

We design your logo, colours and typefaces together, then hand over a set of brand guidelines showing how to use them on cards, packaging, the website and social media.

Every touchpoint

One brand, from packaging to website

Logo, colours and type follow the same rules on packaging, in store, online and on social. Wherever customers meet the brand, they know it at once.

  • Logo, colour and type system
  • Packaging, labels and stationery
  • Social media and presentation templates

Brand guidelines

Agency, printer or new hire: everyone gets the brand right

The guidelines show, with examples, how to use the logo, colours and imagery. At handover we go through them with your team in one session and answer their questions.

  • Guidelines as PDF and on the web
  • A photography and imagery guide
  • Colour and type tokens for the web

The result

What changes when it is done properly

  1. A logo system, not a single logo

Primary logo, secondary logo and symbol, each drawn for the sizes and surfaces where it will actually be used.

  2. Templates your team can use

Social, presentation and stationery templates let your team produce on-brand work without asking us each time.

  3. Files ready for the website

Colours and typefaces are handed over as web values, so the website and store design start from settled decisions.

Process

How the work runs

  1. Get to know you

We talk through the product, your customers and the markets you serve, and the brands you admire and want to avoid.

  2. Define the brand

Before any drawing, we write down in a few pages what the brand stands for and how it should feel.

  3. Design directions

A few considered directions, each shown on a product, a web page and a phone screen rather than on a blank page.

  4. Refine

We refine the direction you choose, within the rounds in your proposal, until it holds at every size.

  5. Handover

Guidelines, templates and master files arrive in one organised folder, with a short walkthrough for your team.

How much does a brand identity cost?

Each identity is priced to its scope, so we do not publish prices. The number of logos, applications, countries and languages shapes the fee. After a private consultation you receive a written proposal with the fee and the deliverables.

Who owns the logo and the files?

The rights in the final designs pass to you as set out in the agreement, and you receive the master files. Typefaces are licensed rather than bought outright, so we recommend fonts whose licences suit your use and help you buy them in your name. We ask before showing the work in our portfolio.

How many revisions are included?

Your proposal names the rounds of revision at each stage. We show a small number of directions in real use rather than a long list of options, which keeps feedback clear. If you want a new direction after approval, we agree the extra scope before any work begins.

Can you help with naming and trademarks?

We help with naming, but formal trademark work belongs with a trademark attorney. The Growth package includes naming support: a shortlist checked for domain and social handle availability. For trademark searches and registration, we prepare the material your attorney needs.

Do we need a new identity, or would a refresh do?

Often a refresh is enough. If your logo is already recognised, we may redraw it and build a system around it. A first conversation or a commerce and brand audit usually settles the question, and we will say plainly when a refresh is enough.
