Italian fashion education, presented in Istanbul

Istituto di Moda Burgo has taught fashion in Milan since 1961, and Burgo Istanbul brings its method and international diploma to Harbiye. We built the school's new website, from the diploma programmes to the students' collections on the runway.

Overview

Burgo Istanbul is the Istanbul school of Istituto di Moda Burgo, founded in Milan by Fernando Burgo. Students take diploma programmes in fashion design, collection, dressmaking, pattern making, draping and haute couture embroidery, and graduate with the Burgo diploma.

The old website no longer matched a school with this heritage. The new one leads with the work itself, the runway, the portfolios and the Milan connection, and then answers the practical questions a future student and their family ask before they call.

    Every diploma, specialist, short, summer and online course has its own page with the curriculum, the duration and the weekly schedule, and a request-for-information button.

    Students' work at the centre

    Runway looks from each Burgo fashion show and student portfolios run as galleries on the home page, so the result of the training is visible before the explanation.

    Heritage and method

    The story of Fernando Burgo, the books of the Burgo method and the school's recognitions are set out on an About page written for families as much as for students.

    Questions answered before the call

    Why Burgo, mentoring, class sizes and the international network are answered in open sections, and enquiry forms ask the right questions up front.
